Privacy policy
Draw and Learn Studio ("we", "us") publishes free step-by-step drawing tutorials for children and beginners at drawandlearnstudio.com. This policy explains what information we do and do not collect, both on the website and through the Pinterest publishing application we operate for our own account.
Information we collect from website visitors
We do not collect personal information. The website has no accounts, no login, no contact forms, no comment sections and no newsletter sign-up. We never ask for your name, email address, postal address, phone number or payment details, and we have no way to receive them.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which tutorials are popular. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-first product: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not track visitors across other websites. It reports only aggregate, anonymous measurements such as page views, referring site and general country. We cannot identify any individual visitor from it.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server request data (such as IP address) transiently in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. This is ordinary infrastructure logging that occurs for any website; we do not use it for analysis or profiling.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies of our own, and we do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking pixels. If your browser stores anything while visiting this site it will be limited to what Cloudflare requires for security and delivery.
Children's privacy
Our tutorials are written for children to follow, usually alongside a parent, carer or teacher. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not build profiles, serve targeted advertising, or enable any child to submit information to us. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our tutorials link to books we publish on Amazon, and our pins link back to this website. When you follow a link away from drawandlearnstudio.com you are subject to the privacy policy of that destination — for example Amazon's or Pinterest's — and not this one. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, how those services handle your data. We encourage you to read their policies.
Where we earn income from a book purchase made through such a link, that transaction takes place entirely on the retailer's platform. We do not receive your name, address, payment details or any other personal information from those purchases.
Our Pinterest application
We operate a private application registered with the Pinterest Developer Platform that we use to publish our own drawing tutorials to our own Pinterest boards. This application is used solely by Draw and Learn Studio for Draw and Learn Studio's own account. It is not offered to, installed by, or made available to any other person or organisation.
What it accesses
The application authenticates through Pinterest's standard OAuth 2.0 flow and requests only the permissions it needs to publish our content: reading and creating our boards, reading and creating our pins, and reading our own account name to confirm it is publishing to the correct profile. It requests no advertising, billing, catalog or business-access permissions.
What it stores
The application stores its Pinterest access and refresh tokens locally on a single private computer, encrypted at rest using the Windows Data Protection API so that they are readable only by the operating-system account that created them. Tokens are never transmitted to any third party, never written to a shared or public location, and never committed to any code repository.
What it does not do
The application does not collect, request, receive, store or process personal data belonging to any Pinterest user other than the account owner. It does not read other users' pins, boards, follower lists or profile data. It does not collect Pinterest login credentials or session cookies at any point — authorisation happens entirely on Pinterest's own OAuth page. It performs no analytics on, and shares no data about, any other person.
Data retention
Because we collect no personal information from visitors, we hold no visitor data to retain or delete. Aggregate analytics are retained by Cloudflare according to their own retention schedule. Pinterest API tokens are retained only while the publishing application is in active use and are destroyed when it is retired or when access is revoked.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over personal data held about you, including rights of access, correction and deletion. As we hold no personal data about our visitors, there is in practice nothing for us to retrieve, amend or erase. If you nonetheless wish to make an enquiry, contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example if we ever add a newsletter or a contact form — we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before the new practice begins.
